FaanKids is a website run by the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN), a US non-profit organisation dedicated to increasing public awareness of food allergy and its consequences. FaanKids is dedicated to primary school children and explains food allergies to them by making use of animals such as Alexander the Elephant (allergic to peanuts), Lenny the Lion (allergic to milk) or Sally the Seal (allergic to fish). The site uses animations, quizzes, colouring pages, FAQs and other tools to convey its message.
